Advanced Hard and Soft Tissue Grafting in Digital Dental Implant Dentistry (CI260)
| 13 CE Credits Prerequisites: Hard and Soft Tissue Grafting in Digital Dental Implant Surgery is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Recommended Prerequisite:
Hard and Soft Tissue Grafting in Digital Dental Implant Dentistry (CI250)
After foundational grafting training, there's a next set of clinical scenarios — staged bone grafts, advanced ridge augmentation, lateral window sinus lifts, esthetic site development, and connective tissue graft harvesting — that most implant dentists still refer to periodontists or oral surgeons.
The complexity of these cases isn't the only limiting factor. The absence of a structured approach is.
This workshop is designed for dentists ready to handle advanced regenerative cases in-house. The curriculum covers bone graft and membrane selection for complex indications, advanced bone and soft tissue grafting concepts, the transcrestal sinus lift technique in step-by-step detail, and a structured clinical approach to the ailing and failing implant.
Participants Will Learn:
-
Select the appropriate bone grafts, membranes, and soft tissue grafting materials for each indication — with a clear rationale behind every choice.
-
Apply advanced bone and soft tissue grafting concepts to cases that go beyond the basics.
-
Perform the transcrestal sinus lift technique with a step-by-step understanding of the process.
-
Recognize the signs of an ailing or failing implant and address it with a structured clinical approach.
Next Recommended Workshop(s):
Treating Soft Tissue Defects Around Teeth and Implants (CI270)
Step-by-step surgical soft tissue grafting procedures utilizing autogenous grafts, allografts, and xenografts will be presented in detail, including specific soft tissue management techniques and suturing techniques.
Complications in Implant Dentistry (CI180)
Examine the most common surgical and prosthetic complications, the data behind their occurrences and prognosis, and hands-on exercises to address the various ways to treat these adverse outcomes.
Implants in the Esthetic Zone (CI310)
This workshop will focus on optimizing the esthetics for implants placed in the esthetic zone. We will discuss esthetic risk assessments, atraumatic extraction techniques to preserve bone, implant placement techniques to minimize tissue loss and more. Restorative topics such as proper abutment selection, material selection for optimal techniques will also be discussed. This is not an introductory course and is recommended for advanced users.
Digital Full Arch Dental Implant Therapy (CI410)
This 2-day workshop will take participants through the full digital workflow on how to treat a fully edentulous patient. Utilizing CEREC and cone beam, users will learn the tips and tricks for a systematic workflow for treatment planning, designing and executing full arch implant therapy for patients. This is not an introductory course and is recommended for advanced users.
