Purchasing a CBCT unit and actually using it well in practice are rarely the same thing. Many new owners complete in-office implementation, take scans when indicated, and find themselves uncertain about what they're looking at — how to systematically review a volume, what Sidexis and Sicat can do, and how the technology connects to implant planning and airway screening.

The investment sits underutilized, and the clinical capability it was purchased for doesn't materialize.

This workshop is designed for new Dentsply Sirona CBCT owners who want to build a systematic, practical workflow for using the technology in daily practice. The curriculum focuses specifically on Sidexis and Sicat — not applicable to other CBCT brands. It covers systematic volume review, inferior alveolar nerve tracing, digital implant planning, and airway assessment using the Sicat Airway module.

Participants Will Learn:

  • Confidently review a CBCT scan in all three planes and identify abnormalities.
  • Differentiate benign from malignant lesions.
  • Identify incidental findings of importance and know how to manage them.
  • Properly use diagnostic codes for medical re-imbursement based on identifying lesion categories.
  • Review a case thoroughly and communicate findings clearly, in a way that serves the patient and protects the practice.
