The General Dentist's Playbook for Predictable Endodontic Therapy (CE110)
| 13 CE Credits Prerequisites: None
Most general dentists can do root canals. Far fewer have a systematic process that makes every case feel consistent — from diagnosis through access preparation, canal shaping, irrigation, and obturation.
Without that repeatability, endo is a workflow that works most of the time and creates uncertainty the rest. For dentists who currently refer cases that are clinically within their scope — or who perform endodontics but haven't had structured, hands-on training in sequencing, file selection, and obturation technique — this workshop provides the protocol to make the process predictable.
The training covers diagnosis and case selection, access preparation across tooth types, canal anatomy evaluation, shaping and file selection, irrigation protocols, and obturation methods. Participants are required to bring extracted teeth mounted in stone, reflecting the hands-on depth of the curriculum.
Participants Will Learn:
-
Select and diagnose endodontic cases appropriate for predictable root canal treatment based on clinical and radiographic findings.
-
Perform safe, efficient, and anatomically guided access preparation across a variety of tooth types.
-
Evaluate canal anatomy and apply appropriate shaping techniques and file systems to achieve effective canal preparation.
-
Compare and implement irrigation protocols tailored to different canal anatomies and clinical scenarios.
-
Demonstrate competency in selecting and executing obturation techniques to achieve predictable endodontic outcomes.
