Implants in the Esthetic Zone (CI310)
| 13 CE Credits Prerequisites: Previous implant placement experience recommended
Recommended Background:
Previous implant placement experience recommended
Placing an implant in the posterior zone and placing one in the anterior are not equivalent procedures. Anterior implant cases carry a disproportionate esthetic burden — tissue biotype, atraumatic extraction technique, bone and soft tissue management, emergence profile development, and provisional design all determine whether the final result looks natural or falls visibly short.
For dentists who can place predictably in the posterior but avoid or second-guess anterior cases, the missing piece is usually a structured esthetic risk assessment and a clear clinical protocol for these sites.
This workshop is designed for experienced implant dentists who want to build consistency and confidence in the esthetic zone. The curriculum covers esthetic analysis and risk assessment, coordinated restorative and surgical treatment planning for anterior cases, surgical technique for predictable esthetic outcomes, and how to recognize and address complications in this zone.
Participants Will Learn:
-
Conduct a thorough esthetic analysis and risk assessment for implant cases so your planning accounts for what the patient will actually see.
-
Coordinate restorative and surgical treatment planning for esthetic implant cases so both sides of the plan work together from the start.
-
Apply the surgical concepts and techniques that lead to predictable outcomes in esthetic implant dentistry.
-
Recognize and address complications in esthetic implant cases with a clear, structured approach.
Next Recommended Workshop(s):
