Implementing Cone Beam for Practical Utilization (CB110)

Once you have completed your initial in-office training with your Dentsply Sirona Clinical Implementation Specialist and viewed the training videos on CDOCS.com, you're ready for the Cone Beam Basic Training workshop. This workshop will focus on learning the fundamentals of Cone Beam technology including reviewing a volume in its entirety. The workshop will focus on getting users comfortable with the operation of the Cone Beam hardware as well as learning the software used to power the device. Participants will focus on hands-on use of the Sidexis and Sicat Suite bundles of software.

Each participant will have a dedicated computer to allow for ample hands-on training.



Staff seating is limited and on a first come, first serve basis.

Participants Will Learn:

  • Confidently navigate CBCT software and systematically review a full 3D volume, catching pathologies they might have missed before.
  • Accurately trace the inferior alveolar nerve and digitally plan implant placement with proper positioning and angulation.
  • Evaluate a potential implant site preoperatively to determine if it’s within their skill set and safe to treat in-office.
  • Quickly assess a patient’s airway using the software’s automatic segmentation tools to screen for potential sleep apnea cases.
  • Efficiently use all the software’s tools to manipulate, slice, and analyze CBCT scans in multiple planes for better diagnostics.
