CEREC SELF-ASSESSMENT
to find the right next step in your CEREC journey.
For dentists who own a CEREC system and place or restore implants, lab dependence on implant restorations is one of the clearest gaps between the technology's potential and how it's being used. Sending every crown to the lab adds cost, adds appointments, and delays the patient experience. Beyond economics, there are clinical consequences — emergence profile design directly affects peri-implant tissue health, and without a chairside workflow, there's no protocol for tissue shaping at surgery or at uncover.
This workshop is for CEREC users with implant exposure who haven't yet built a consistent chairside implant restoration workflow. The curriculum covers screw-retained and custom abutment design, component identification and selection, material matching for implant cases, bonding protocols for temporary and permanent restorations to the Ti-Base, and options for when immediate temporization isn't possible.
Participants Will Learn:
-
Understand how to properly design both a screw retained crown and a custom abutment and crown to optimize long term clinical success.
-
Identify every component required for screw-retained crowns and custom abutment and crown cases.
-
Match the right material to the right clinical situation for screw-retained and custom abutment cases.
-
Properly bond both temporary and permanent materials to the Ti-Base.
-
Make both a Maryland bridge and a custom tissue healer when immediate temporization is not an option.
Next Recommended Workshop(s):
Anterior Esthetics with Chairside CAD/CAM (CL350)
Many doctors don't realize the full potential of their CEREC technology because they don't use it to its full capacity. In fact, with CEREC you can achieve esthetic results equivalent to high quality labs. This workshop provides you with the tools necessary to complete anterior cases with ease, positively impacting your productivity, clinical outcomes and patient care.
Fundamentals of Implant Planning & Surgery (CI110)
