Take our quick
CEREC SELF-ASSESSMENT
to find the right next step in your CEREC journey.
Most CEREC users who've mastered posterior work draw a line at the anterior. The stakes feel higher, the margin for error feels narrower, and the software's esthetic capabilities — smile design, biocopy, consistent symmetry across centrals — feel harder to navigate than posterior workflow.
The result is a practice that refers out or sends to the lab cases that are technically within the scope of what the technology can do.
This workshop is designed for intermediate CEREC users who are comfortable in the posterior and ready to build a predictable anterior workflow. The curriculum covers facially generated treatment planning, smile design principles, material and shade selection for anterior ceramics, preparation and provisionalization technique for conservative esthetic cases, and the software approach to consistent anterior outcomes.
Participants Will Learn:
-
Evaluate anterior esthetic cases using the principles of Facially Generated Treatment Planning (FGTP)
-
Apply smile design concepts to develop predictable design plans for anterior restorative cases
-
Select appropriate materials, shades, and characterization techniques to optimize esthetic outcomes in anterior restorations
-
Demonstrate tooth preparation and provisionalization techniques for conservative anterior esthetic restorations
-
Confidently utilize CEREC software to consistently obtain predictable, highly esthetic anterior restorations
Next Recommended Workshop(s):
Lab-Quality Chairside Restorations: Mastering Stain and Glaze for Dentists and Their Teams (CL220)
An expert dental technician teaches you how to make your everyday chairside restorations lab-quality masterpieces through a variety of hands-on exercises highlighting a proven fast and predictable workflow. IMPORTANT: Clinical Accelerator training vouchers are not eligible for this workshop
Comprehensive Restorative Care with a Digital Workflow (CL450)
CEREC goes beyond just single-tooth dentistry. This workshop is a natural extension of the Anterior Esthetics with Chairside CAD/CAM workshop where participants will learn techniques for comprehensive cases including: how to perform virtual wax-ups, basic fundamentals of smile design and how to stage full mouth cases. Participants will execute a full upper arch case.
Next-Level Esthetic Dentistry to Perfect Smile Design (CL460)
Participants will focus on photography, case presentation, color and shade selection, contouring, staining and glazing as well as final esthetic cementation of an anterior case. Attendees are expected to have already taken the Anterior Esthetics with Chairside CAD/CAM workshop or have a thorough understanding of the CEREC software with regards to designing and milling.
