Chairside CAD/CAM Mastery For Dental Assistants (CL100)
| 14 CE Credits Prerequisites: None. Recommended for all chairside assistants. - Jameson
Most CEREC systems are underutilized because only the doctor knows how to run them. When the entire CAD/CAM workflow depends on the dentist — from scanning through design and milling — every step requires direct doctor involvement. That bottleneck slows throughput and limits what a practice's investment in technology returns.
This workshop is built entirely for dental assistants who are ready to take real ownership of the chairside CAD/CAM process. Doctors are not included — this curriculum is designed around what an assistant needs to understand to support and run the digital workflow with confidence.
The training covers each stage of the CEREC restoration, preparation design recognition across inlays, onlays, and crowns, Biogeneric design mode differentiation, material and block understanding, and finishing and polishing technique.
Participants Will Learn:
-
Know exactly where you are in every CEREC restoration — the step, the instrument, and what comes next.
-
Understand the design differences between Biogeneric Individual, Biogeneric Copy, and Mirror, and know when to use each one.
-
Recognize ideal preparation designs for inlays, onlays, and crowns.
