Infiltration liquid for inCoris F0.5 abutment block
Can anyone tell me what brand infiltration liquid everyone is using? Also, after painting the abutment does it need to go through a drying cycle? Thank you!!

same... probably haven't used anything except for the A3 in a long while the pink on one case. The others on some older zirconia bridges before more esthetic blocks came out. Not sure worth the whole kit for anyone...

I use Ivoclar's infiltration kit, and like it very much. I'm almost never doing abutments with a time pressure, so yes I usually do the pre-dry and sinter cycle.

Marc - I think it depends on the degree of saturation... I do a light infiltration in the grooves for just about every zirconia molar case (katana and MTL). They were dry milled, and I just run them on the sinter cycle. So far, no concerns after a couple years and a few hundred samples. If I'm trying to alter the shade (of the cervical, for example), I'll definitely do the drying cycle.
Just as a data point for what's possible without explosions... your workflow is absolutely the supported and verified one!

You're lucky. As my friend Meena Barsoum has said, it's not a problem until it is.

I notice that Schein's lab side of sales carry some dapper infiltrate shades (with sensible names, I'll add). Problem is that they wouldn't sell to me because I was a dentist...not a lab. Does that seem sensible?
